Design challenge: Architecturally design a rustic mountain contemporary  home  on a sprawling nearly 300 acre lot, the family homestead  and site plan had to be architecturally laid out to maximize views and minimize land disturbance.
 
Site Area: 286 .Acres

 

Primary Residence: 5,876 Heated Sq. Ft 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms

​The Vision

 

For Marci, Kevin, and their family, the journey to realize their dream home in Talking Rock, GA was a highly rewarding  engagement in architectural design and collaboration. From the initial sketches provided by architect James Knight to the final construction documents, this project highlights what is possible when a dedicated family partners with an expert team.

 

Guided by James and brought to life alongside a hand-picked local general contractor the Robinson residence was a story of turning complex site challenges into a memorable home in the North Georgia mountains.
