Just around the corner from one of our favorite North Georgia vineyards (Chateau Meichtry) in Talking Rock, Georgia, sits this brand new custom-designed home. Architectural designs by James Knight

Completed in 2024 and located in the peaceful, private community of Vineyards of the Yukon, "TWISTED OAK" offers breathtaking views, modern comforts, and a seamless blend of rustic and contemporary aesthetics. Needless to say, we are quite proud!



The Vision Behind the Project

During our architectural concept design process, the team at REYNARD worked closely with the homeowner to create a residence that balances luxury and function while keeping the design to an attainable figure.

The architectural design brief was for a timeless retreat that embraced natural beauty while providing modern amenities so guests would be welcome to stay, enjoy a short vacation, and relax in the mountains.


With soaring A-frame ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and expansive windows, the home is ideally suited for those who appreciate both architectural detailing and the tranquility of the outdoors.

  • A-Frame Design: The signature A-frame structure enhances the home's mountain lodge appeal, a clear sight-line maximizes natural light and offering panoramic views.

  • Vaulted Ceilings with Exposed Beams: These features add a dramatic yet inviting touch to the living areas, showcasing the wood craftsmanship.

  • Expansive Glass Windows: Floor-to-ceiling windows blur the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing an uninterrupted connection to nature and some great outdoor views.

  • Spacious Wraparound Deck: Designed for outdoor entertaining, the deck extends the living space and offers breathtaking sunset views over the Georgia mountains.
